METHODOLOGY
Teaching at the pre-primary level oral teaching is promoted, an activity oriented, theme based learning is designed for kids. More emphasis and stress is given on the teaching of phonics and reading.
AIS , Vastral , Ahemadabad completes the cycle of LSRW (Listen-Speak-Read-Write) by encouraging students to talk clearly, confidently and with expressions in order to communicate ideas and feelings. Similarly, important is the need to listen to others and respond appropriately. All students are provided with opportunities in all areas of the curriculum to develop skills in speaking and listening.
ASSESSMENT
Assessment Policy for Classes Play Group to Prep (2018-19)
The academic year is divided into two terms and each term has two assessment reports. Each assessment report is based on the continuous evaluation based on class activities, worksheets and assignments on day to day basis.
Assessment Policy for Classes I & II (2018-19)
The academic year is divided into two terms and each term has two assessment reports. There shall be no formal examinations for classes I & II. The students will be assessed on the basis of day to day performances and regular classroom observations. The assessments would comprise of worksheets, assignments, recitation, reading, group discussions, dictations, project works, quizzes, extempore, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), interactions, Short Answer Questions (SAQs), field projects, etc.
The report card will only reflect the colours.
Assessment Policy for Classes III to IX (2018-19)
- Regular PERIODIC ASSESSMENT (PA) shall be conducted for all subjects in each term.
- ANNUAL EXAMINATION will be held in the month of March.
